The Blue Oasis-Pet Friendly!

This charming 3 bed, 2 bath cottage, one minute from the West Cape May bridge, is a short drive to Cape May, the Bay beaches, Wildwood, and all local attractions. The house is close to everything, but far enough from the hustle & bustle to relax. With a cozy living room, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and 1 bedroom with two twin sized beds, a dining area, full kitchen, sunroom, fire pit, bbq, outdoor dining and outdoor shower, this is truly a “home away from home”. Just a one minute drive to the West Cape May bridge, (the smaller bridge onto the island), right by the canal, the Blue Oasis is the perfect location to enjoy all that the area has to offer, without being in the center of the summer insanity. The house is close to Nauti Spirits, a famous local distillery that has incredible cocktails, outdoor seating, and live entertainment, and several wineries, and is an eight minute drive to the Cape May beaches and downtown. The house has three nice sized bedrooms. Two have a queen size bed, one has two twin size beds. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, with a separate whirlpool tub to relax those sore beach muscles, and stall shower. The master bedroom also has a small, attached sunroom. The other bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo, and is right outside the bedrooms in the hall. There is a dining room table for eating inside, as well as a large desk and chair. Outside, there is a soft scaped patio area with a table and umbrella for outside dining, as well as a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs (s’mores!), and a large gas barbecue. A lovely enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water is perfect for rinsing off sand from the beach and enjoying the luxury of bathing outside. My house is located on .62 acres, and has lots of natural wildlife. Birds, butterflies and bunnies are regular visitors. There is bird seed provided in a bin by the front door, if you enjoy watching birdies with your morning coffee. The gardens are planted with bird, bee, and butterfly friendly flowers. Hummingbirds are regular visitors. Please note that the house is my primary residence for much of the year. It is not just an “investment property”, it’s a home, so the owner asks that guests treat it as theirs as well. The house is family friendly, but not “child proofed”. All guests are welcome, just know that parents will have to assess any risks (sharp corners, outlets, etc) that may exist in the house. Pets with responsible pet owners are welcome at the home. There is a one pet maximum The owner is willing to consider two, if the furry creatures are well behaved and chill. There is an additional pet fee. Pets are not allowed on the furniture and beds, as dirty paws, odors, and shedding fur are very difficult to clean. All dog waste must be picked up from the yard and neighboring properties. Please do not leave your pets unattended for long periods of time, as that is when they get stressed and eat furniture. The host has tried to make this home as comfy as possible, for a truly relaxing and rejuvenating vacation. *Please note! Maximum occupancy is 6 people. Children count as occupants. If you have a party of 6, plus a toddler, for example, the owner will consider allowing that, but the extra person fee will be added. Every person staying at the house must be disclosed. The person who makes the reservation must be the person checking in, and be at the house for the duration of the stay. All linens (sheets, blankets, bath towels), are included. Of course, guests are welcome to bring their own, if that’s more comfortable. The rental includes a Roku Smart tv, so you can sign into all of your favorite streaming channels. Cable tv is not offered. There is NO washer or dryer in this property. **Addtional Cleaning fee on all leases**
